For students

The main aim of the teaching subject “Forensic medicine” is mastering students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in forensic medicine during training general practitioner. Due to the aim of training the next tasks are: to get acquaintance students with juridical and organizational bases and forensic-medical service; to teach students with specialist’s activity in forensic medicine at examination of cadaver at the place of finding; to train the ways of determination the fact of death coming, its remoteness, description of clothes and damages on the body; to teach students the ways of forensic medical examination for the cadaver at different causes of death and making up expert’s evaluation; to get acquaintance the students with the main methods of forensic medical examination of the damages with acute and blunt things, and, also with the fire-arms; to teach students with methods of forensic medical evaluation of alive persons, to get acquaintance them with main principles of forensic medical severity evaluation for body  damages, making up the act of forensic medical examination and expert’s conclusion; to teach the students with the ways of correct taking, package, direction to the laboratories and forensic medical examination of material evidences: to get acquaintance the students with produce of evaluation by the medical documentations, materials of preliminary juridical investigation, and, also, with the character of the law breaking, following medical workers, who takes responsibility for it.
To gain knowledge and make progress in forensic medical the students must know:
 The laws, directing to inviolability in RUz; regulations of legislation for the forensic medical evaluation, rights and duties, responsibility of medical workers for professional law breaking, and, also, the main laws, regulating the activity of medical workers; modern scientific data on all sections of forensic medicine, and, also, use main methods of examination for forensic medical evaluation (cadaver, alive persons and material evidences).
Students must do; to determine the fact of death coming, to note the cadaver’s position and data on external examination with description clothes, cadaver’s signs, damages, to determine the time of death coming in the minutes by the investigator; to help the investigator in finding, taking, package of material evidences of biological origin; to carry out forensic medical examination of the cadaver with registration necessary documents, filling in medical death certificate; to carry out forensic medical evaluation of the witness with obligatory making up expert evaluation and conclusions, in the first place by the evaluation of severity body damages; to use data on forensic medical evaluations at sudden death, mechanic damages, poisonings for raise the quality of dispensary system and render medical prophylactic care to population; to use correctly the data of laboratory study, especially biological department at making up forensic medical evaluations of the cadavers and examination of the alive persons, to analyze, the given cases by investigation agencies, the materials of the case and making up answers to the questions of forensic investigation agencies in the case of professional law breaking of medical workers to use the data of forensic medical evaluation for taking health education work among the population.
Students must have skills of : examination of the place of incident; the cadaver at the place of its finding; main ways of statement death; determination of the death remoteness; the order of examination the cadaver’s clothes; description of early and late cadaver’s changes and damages; the technique of autopsy; external and internal cadavers’ examination; the technique of taking out the cadaver’s material for additional studies; making up the forensic medical diagnosis; making up the results to the expert’s conclusion methods of forensic medical evaluation for the alive persons; forensic medical evaluation the severity of body’s damages; making up the act of examination or conclusion; ways of obstetric gynecological evaluation; taking smears for additional studies; carry out forensic medical evaluation by the materials of juridical investigation; determination of the group in liquid blood by ABO system; determination of presence kind and blood group in the spots; determination of presence and group properties for sperm in the footprints.
